CONTI FEDERAL WINS $97.3M CONTRACT FOR NEW FACILITIES AT SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, HAWAII
Conti Federal Services was awarded a $97.3 million design-bid-build (DBB) military construction contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Pacific Ocean Division. The project involves constructing five new buildings, including two readiness module structures, at South Range Schofield Barracks to support the mission readiness and administrative operations of the 225th Brigade Support Battalion.
DOD SURVEYS SMALL BUSINESSES AHEAD OF MANDATORY CMMC CYBERSECURITY RULE
The Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs released a pulse survey to evaluate CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) readiness, concerns, and challenges among small businesses. This survey was issued just before the CMMC acquisition rule is set to become effective on November 10, meaning DoD will begin including CMMC requirements in contracts.
